Beauty Consultants at Walgreens

I have a good word about the beauty consultants at Walgreens!

Yesterday a beauty consultant offered to check out my items at the cosmetic counter when I was finished shopping. There was not a line at the front of the store, but I was already near the cosmetic counter and the woman seemed very nice. I wondered how she would handle all the coupons and Register Rewards I had.

Much to my surprise, she did a great job with the coupons (and in fact encouraged me in the couponing endeavor) and put 2 free samples in my shopping bag as well! Needless to say, I will be checking out at the cosmetic counter from now on.

Has anyone else had a similar or different experience with the beauty consultants at Walgreens? Leave a comment.

i love checking out at the cosmetic counter. they are so nice...great with the coupons...and mine even has a special "secret" coupon stash under her counter. so she will whip them out and save me even MORE money...not to mention i get to hang onto my coupon for another day and another deal!

I LOVE the women that work the beauty counters at Walgreens. I have had them go out of their way to point out sales and offer coupons for items I was looking at atleast 3 different Walgreens. Even items that were not in the beauty department. I have never had a similar experience at CVS. I have actually wondered if it was a store policy. If so it works, it has definitely made me enjoy shopping at Walgreens.

I have checked out at the beauty counter before at one Walgreens. The other I shop at I haven't. The lady there is nice and always willing to get the manager but doesn't know about anything besides the beauty department. At the first place, the two women there are very nice, but one had much difficulty with my rebate receipt request and then the issues of it not printing correctly. She's still willing to check me out, but I'm more tempted to go the front of the store instead.

I agree - cosmetic counter all the way. They are very pleasant and much more patient with coupons.

I so agree... my friend and I were both talking about this just today.
I will only go to the cosmetics counter from now on.

I, too, love to check out at the beauty counter at my Walgreens. The ladies there are always very nice and don't get frustrated with all my coupons. When they see me come by their counter, they tell me to come back when I am ready to check out. Another good thing about checking out with them is that you don't have to worry about lots of people being behind you and getting impatient when I have several coupons to redeem.

I too love the friendly cosmetic gal at my local Wags. She is the best with my deals, unfortunately she is off on medical and I am forced to deal with someone else. BOOOOO!

I started to check out at the cosmetic counter a couple of weeks ago, planning to do two transactions. There was a lady in front of me who had stacks of RR and coupons and the man at the counter was giving her a hard time telling her that the RR were for future visits and they're really not supposed to do multiple transactions. I quickly left to check out at the front. Maybe the man was just filling in for someone.

One time the lady at the cosmetic counter said the freebies were for buying an item in the cosmetic department with a blue dot on it. I never saw a blue dot on anything, but....
